I’ve been more diligent about keeping track of my projects on Ravelry, and less so about my blogging.

This is Rock Island by Jared Flood. The twelve-stitch-wide edging was hell. I found it to be unwieldy (all that turning!), and I couldn’t seem to memorize the chart, which made it about a thousand rows of “sucking the fun out of knitting.” But as soon as I got to the body it was smooth sailing, and the pattern became easier and grew exponentially closer to completion. It’s done, it’s gorgeous, and in the end I’m glad I did it.
