I found a new reason to frequent the Torpedo Factory. The Potomac Fiber Arts Gallery has some gorgeous fiber goods worth admiring, for which I have a whole new appreciation since becoming a knitter. In this shop you will find painstakingly woven masterpieces (I fell in lust with a couple of luxurious silk scarves - I’ll have to return for the artist’s name), as well as a selection of yarns of rayon and wools of different pedigree and multifarious threads hand dyed in a spectrum of colors and personalities. I know where I’ll be taking my paycheck.
