The most ridiculous things happen when you’re on a scooter.

I was scootering from class today, and went over one of many familiar bumps on the road home. But after hitting this bump, I felt something tugging at the bag hanging between my feet. I looked down to see a length of yarn extending from the bag to the road. Oh no! The hat I was working on flew out and was now bouncing beside my scooter at 35 mph!

Thinking fast, I used my left hand to pull up the piece of yarn within reach, and continued to reel in the rest using my mouth as a placeholder. Somehow I was able to rescue my project without harm — and I didn’t even drop a stitch!

I knew I had a yarn problem, but I never thought it would put my life at risk.

So this is what I did this morning to an old @coach shopper I found at the back of my closet. Kind of cute, right?
