Confession Time
I recently finished several months-old projects in an attempt to cleanse my mind and space. But my knitting rotation is still backed up. Here’s what is on the needles:
- Brioche stitch cuff mittens with Stitch Nation Bamboo Ewe — the body of the mittens will be striped with Louisa Harding La Saluta mohair. Both in a frosty blue-green color. These are for a friend.
- Damson in Malabrigo Sock in the Primavera colorway. I started this as a traveling project and kept screwing up the YOs because I’d be in the middle of a row when the stitches would slip off in my bag (I have no idea how to fix a dropped YO four rows down). I frogged it twice, bought longer needles and point protectors, but still haven’t gotten over the emotional trauma. I’ll pick it back up when I can look at it without feeling hate.
- Amber sweater — this is going to be an easy project, I am just procrastinating.
- I want to unravel two bulky yarn experimental scarves I made and turn them into cowls. Blue Sky Alpacas Bulky in a frosty blue-green color, and Malabrigo Rasta in an electric pink. I hope they don’t pill too much when I do this.
- I promised hats to two coworkers.
Don’t let me start any more projects.
What are you making?
