Chroma Knitting Bag
Latest in the Etsy shop — the perfect knitting bag. Handwoven for your handknits. Vividly decorated with Guatemalan textiles, and durable to boot. Features a drawstring, an optional inner strap, and is fully lined. The base is round so the bag stands instead of slumping over, and ensures a better fit for skeins. Hey knitting tumbleague, what are you making?
I’m making Ysolda Teague’s Damson shawl with Malabrigo Sock in the Primavera colorway Yo-El’s Mermaid Shawl with Zoë yarn, an Argentine yarn maker I found in Guatemala More crochet coral for the Smithsonian exhibit. I am having fun using novelty yarns!

I’ll be there for almost two weeks. My aunt suggested I bring some trinkets for the people and children we will see. Naturally, I’m bringing them crochet hooks and yarn.

One of the best parts about this project is getting to use all those...

I broke two of my rules today.
Believe it or not, my stash is getting low. This has become more apparent since I learned to crochet and have had to make granny squares from everything. I feel a little disappointed about my diminishing yarn supply — because I don’t see where it all went, and because I’ve spent so much money on yarn and don’t see where it all went — and I say I need to reload. ...
